Our offer includes sparkling wines from the Bohemia Sekt brand and natural wines from local wine cellars, French champagne and natural wines from Prague Global Wines.

Hotel Jana sommeliers
An old wine region south of Burgundy, stretching along the Rhone River basin, is divided into northern and southern sub-regions. Cotes du Rhone is famous for its fiery, full and spicy wines. Their classification is similar to that of Burgundy wines from AOC and Villages wines to 13 Crus, of which Chateauneuf-du-Pape is the most famous.

The winery estate, Chateau Gigognan, produces very interesting wines in this area. Vineyard Clos du Roi is the best of this estate's vineyards and also the best vine-growing settlement in Chateauneuf-du-Pape. The dry, red wine of Syrah and Grenache varieties, with their fine texture, bouquet of strawberries with a background of vanilla and fine tannins are excellent company to red meats, game and cheese.

The most famous wine region in France, which lies in the southwest by the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. Nearly 30 000 farms and chateaus produce around 5.5 million hectoliters of wine every year, of which, 3% rank in higher classifications, distinct in each sub-area of the entire wine region. These wines brought Bordeaux up to the Wine Olympus and ensured fame and worldwide recognition. The basis of red Bordeaux wines is Cabernet Sauvignon accompanied with a Merlot variety.

This wine is composed of 60% Merlot and 40% Cabernet Sauvignon varieties from Louis Eschenauer. A precious, fresh and fruity wine, with a deep ruby colour that is suitable with roasted red meats and cheese. A high proportion of the Merlot variety brings mild and slightly spicy tones.

The name of the chateau, began in the nineteenth century, is just as respected as the wine produced here. This wine is composed of 75% of the Merlot variety, it has a beautiful dark colour, with an intense aroma of cherries and other stone fruits, and a silky and refined taste. The flavor may be slightly reminiscent of wood, blackberry, blueberry, cherry, as well as of tobacco and leather. It is presented with a mature gamin and has good potential for ageing. Ideal with feathered game or roast beef with mushrooms.

These sought-after wines from the Grave region have a purple/red colour, and the attractive and elegant aromas of ripe fruit and vanilla. In the mouth it is medium-bodied, complex with soft tannins and the aroma of stone fruits. Can be served in combination with grilled red meat or feathered game meat.

Haut-Médoc Cuvée Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot are rightly considered to be the elite of the region. The wine matures for 15 to 18 months in oak barrels. It is purified with egg whites and is not filtered before bottling. It has a dark colour, ripe aroma and a taste with very well balanced hints of black currant and mature tannins.

Pleasant and distinctive wine made from 62% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 3% Petit Verdot from grapevines with an average age of about 20 years. It has a purple, almost inky colour with a strong aroma of spices, tobacco and smoke. Its flavor contains tones of peat, stone fruits, currants with a coffee finish. Excellent in combination with boar or other game meat.

The influence of neighboring Germany is reflected not only in the culture but also in the style of wines and varieties used. Harvested from selected positions and pressed from fully ripe grapes gives this wine a fuller expression and noble taste. This wine has a good potential for ageing. It is a nice accompaniment for fish with sauces such as salmon and halibut.
In Val de Loire, the Loire valley, along the longest river of France, a broad range of wines are grown and produced; white, pink, red, bubbling and sparkling. A higher production of rosé wines can be found in Anjou and Samouru.

A light, refreshing, medium bodied, semi-dry wine from the Gamay, Groleau variety. Coral pink with a raspberry flavor. It is perfect as an aperitif, but also with white meat, oriental dishes and salads.
Classic Champagne has become a symbol of quality, synonymous with luxury and prestige, that is unparalleled in the wine world. Winemakers in France and elsewhere in the world pride themselves on wines from a well-defined territory, with Champagne it's quite the opposite - wines are blends of various ages, territories, varieties and harvest times. Only 3 grape varieties are authorized however - Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and one variety of Chardonnay white. The highest level of quality is represented in Cuvées de Prestige, the flagship of the product. No other sparkling wine outside this area may bear the label of Champagne or Méthode Champenois.

Harmonious combination of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier varieties. It has a straw-yellow colour, which passes through shades of green, reminiscent of lime and vine blossom. This champagne is smooth and has a balanced flavor. Brut Imperial tastes delicious as an appetizer or dessert.
Tuscany is the most important and best known Italian wine region, famous especially for its red wines. Chianti, the most famous of the Italian wines, is produced in this region from the Sangiovese variety. Tuscany can pride itself on the highest concentration of regions in the DOCG category and its great wines. Brunello di Montalcino ranks among the highest rated.

Péppoli presents modern style Chianti Classico. It is based on 90% of the Sangiovese variety and an addition of a 10% mixture of Merlot and Syrah varieties. Only the best grapes from the Péppoli region are used. It is matured in traditional 55 hectolitre oak casks for at least 9 months. The wine has a very dark colour and a complex rich aroma of flowers, fruits and vanilla with a touch of wood. It is well balanced, with a firm structure, a harmonious course and a fruity finish.

This wine is composed of 80% Sangiovese and a 20% mixture of varieties. A small portion of the wine is aged in barrique barrels. After maturing and blending, the wine matures a further 12 months in bottles. The wine has a very dark garnet colour, elegant fragrance, with prominent fruity tones bordering on fruit preserves with a delicate touch of vanilla. The wine does not surprise with its strong body, but with a firm backbone and with smooth tannins. Gorgeous fruitiness with hints of dark chocolate. It is very well balanced and structured.
The most famous wine region of Spain, known worldwide for its quality wines. The most commonly produced are the red wines of the Tempranillo varieties, aged in oak barrels in the DOC category with the highest level of classification.

Wine is composed of Tempranillo and Cabernet Sauvignon varieties and has a pleasant fruitiness with an aroma of vanilla, licorice and berries. Bottles leave cellars no earlier than after two years of maturing in new barrique barrels and another year of aging in bottles. Excellent in combination with game meat and poultry.

Two years maturing in new barrique barrels, and only 5 years in bottles give this excellent Gran Reserva Tempranillo varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon a complex aroma of blackberries, cherries, chocolate and a large body. It is a pleasant accompaniment to beef, venison and cheese dishes.
The center of winemaking in Portugal is the picturesque area of the Douro River basin where, not only Porto but other very good natural wines are produced. Traditional domestic varieties of grapvine are used in their production.

Wine in the Reserva category are of dark inky colours with purple reflections and have a full and distinctive bouquet with an aroma of plums, cinnamon and vanilla. Thanks to its incredible richness and fullness it goes well not only with meat dishes, but also with hot Mexican food.

Tones of dark fruit, vanilla, tobacco and chocolate all appear in its taste. Rounded tannins and a powerful full body with a fine and elegant structure.

This wine is produced from the Touriga Nacionál, Touriga Francesca varieties, Tinta Roriz and Tinta Barroca. A very versatile wine suitable with baked dishes, grilled meats or dark sauces.

This Porto is a pleasant and velvety Tawny from the heart of the Douro Valley. It is left to mature for 7 years in oak casks until it obtains its characteristic colour of burnt topaz. It is excellent as an appetizer but it is also recommended with desserts, sweet pastries and chocolate.

A very fine, wonderfully aromatic and delicate Porto. It is a mixture of several varieties of mature Tawny and agesd for at least 20 years. The wine gradually loses its original dark purple colour and acquires a soft amber colour. The simple fruity taste of new wines retreats and is replaced by the smell and taste of spice, licorice, nuts, vanilla, oak, oranges, raisins or roasted almonds. Such Porto is then rich, smooth and well balanced with a velvety touch and is an excellent alternative to brandy, cognacs and other digestives.
Today, this long and narrow country in the foothills of the Andes is called the showcase of South America. With its new modern technologies and excellent natural conditions it produces world class wines. An undeniably French origin can be seen in the predominant use of classic varieties such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc. The most important and productive is the Central Valley region.

Los Vascos is one of the most favored Chilean wines and is certainly a masterpiece. The reason is not so much the ownership of the world-renowned French winery, Barons de Rothschild, but its powerful force and velvety soft and pleasant fruity taste. It's a classic elegant Cabernet Sauvignon with a ruby colour with delicate tones of wood, vanilla and a lush, fruity and spicy aroma.
Argentina is the fifth largest wine-producing country in the world and its winemaking is strongly influenced by the environment of the Andes. The most famous and typical argentinian wine is Malbec, which produces dark, beautiful, rich, complex wines. The most well known and most important area of Mendoza, in particular its Lujan de Cuyo region, is where the best wines of the Malbec variety are grown.

This is the best of the Malbec wines. It is named after the dark soil in the foothills of the Andes called Piedra Negra. The wine has a very dark, almost inky colour, an intense and a very spicy bouquet rich in vanilla flavor, which is atypical for the Malbec variety. Full on the palate, but surprisingly delicate and velvety smooth after its initial strong flavor.
This area has recently become a very popular and fashionable wine-making country whose wines are on the way to conquering the world. Most wineries are concentrated around Cape Town. Each region has numerous smaller farms. The main varieties grown in South Africa include Chardonnay, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Shiras and Pinot Noir.
white: 7750 Delheim Chardonnay 749.00 CZK
This Chardonnay was grown in a 20 year old vineyard, on the southwest side of the Simonsberg mountains at an altitude of 420 metres above sea level. The wine is fermented in stainless steel tanks and then matured in barrels of French oak, of which 37% were new. The wine was aged 10 months on yeast in these oak barrels and then was bottled in February 2006. It has a rich concentrated flavor with a hint of citrus. It is a well-balanced wine with an elegant taste and firm texture.

Due to intensive summer pruning, this vine achieved a good vault. It was harvested at the optimum stage of ripeness, when the grapes began to shrink slightly and the stones seemed to taste ripe. This wine is suited to vegetable dishes, fish paell and game.

The most famous Pinotage from South Africa. It is typical for its dark inky purple colour. It has a strong scent of smoke in combination with animality, tones of liquorice, chocolate and ripe fruit passing through to preserves. The taste perfectly follows the smell. It has a very long potential.

Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Pinotage are the varieties that compose this harmonious wine that has been matured in barrels of French oak for 24 months. The bouquet is characterized by an explosive aroma of fruit. It has a spicy flavor and is full of ripe tannins and rich in natural softness; the perfect South African version of red Bordeaux.

Wine of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot and Cabernet Franc varieties aged in smaller barrels of French oak. It is characterized by a sweet, perfumed aroma that is earthy and provocative.There is a prevailing taste of raspberries and blackberries, accompanied by a silky soft feel with a hint of chocolate.
All of the wine-making regions in Australia are located in the colder territories around the southern corners of the continent. In the west of the continent there is the Margaret River region. The most important, however, is South Australia's famous Barossa Valley region. To the east there is Vicroria state's Yarra Valley region and in the most eastern New South Wales state there is the famous Hunter Valley. Together they make up the cradle of Australian wine. The most famous Australian winery is Penfolds, which is one of the largest 20th century producers of wine - Grange.

This wine matures for 14 months in the same barrels of American oak as the Grange wines. It has a deep, dull, dark red colour with an aroma of cranberries and mulberries accompanied by a touch of liquorice and soy. It has a full structure with the flavors of fruit, dark chocolate, coffee, anise and fine tannins for a balanced finish. A unique option to lamb dishes.
