ZOO and Lešná Castle
This ZOO is not a place where animals are kept in cages, but a modern biopark with spacious natural habitats where the animals can be seen in their natural environments. The enclosures are carefully interwoven into the forest and imitate the original homes of individual animals. The ZOO is divided into areas based on continents. Mammals and birds live in a common enclosure and you will find representatives of many animals from Africa, Asia, Australia and South America.
The ZOO is located in a beautiful historical park and has a history spanning 200 years. The landscape of the ZOO has been designed with numerous artificial lakes, ponds, streams, fountains and waterfalls. Cosy hideaways offer a pleasant stay in the romantic park dominated by the Chateau Lesna, which is renowned for its woodcarved decor and extensive collections of porcelain and silver.
