Přerov alluvial plain trail

The instructive local history boards, with noted local attractions and the scenic path called, “Through Přerov´s Meadowland”,  were established in 2004. The trail is a 12 km (8 miles) stretch leading through a variety of ecosystems along the Bečva river. Eighteen richly illustrated information boards allow visitors to see the ancient history and the present day city, revealing the complex pattern of the development of alluvial landscapes and presents hundreds of local species of plants and animals. The trail passes by the most picturesque places in Přerov and brings you to the Michalov Municipal Park. It is a place where the symbolic value of cultural heritage combines with the beauty of nature. Further information
