Historical center of Kromeriz

One of all opportunities is to visit Kromeriz town, where you can find many sightseeing's such as Archbishop's chateau, known as summer residence of Austrian emperors, chateau garden right next to the building or Floral garden. For its unique architecture was chateau in 1998 written onto the UNESCO list.

Historical center of Olomouc

At your wish we can prepare individual, or group trip, with sightseeing's guide across Olomouc. With its historical development is Olomouc almost equal to Prague. Pilgrimage area on St. Kopecek consisting of Visiting of Mother Virgin, residential and other buildings, arcades with chapel is valuable baroque piece of 17th and beginning of 18th century. Its construction was assisted by prime artist of that era. Pilgrimage place has its era of growth, but failure too, depending on historical conditions. Worth of mention is year 1945 when the temple was on fire, but didn't burn. Towers and outer look were reconstructed. In 1950 were monks forced to leave, and returned on February 11th 1990. Then great events happened when basilica were honored by title "basilica minor" and in 1995 pope John Paul II. visited Kopecek and met youth people.

called "Moravian Bethlem". The city dominant is ruined castle Strallenberg with circle tower called Truba. The only architectonical unique is piece of urban structure made of folk architecture from 18th and 19th century, most of these structures stand in town sightseeing reservation. Stramberk is also known for its delicious cookies "Stramberske usi", which are baked here for many centuries to remind great victory of stramberk's Christians over the Mongolian army on 8th May 1241.

Village of Lednice has its rich and weird history. Now it's called "The pearl of south Moravia". Large part of Lednicko-Valticky area, which consist mostly of countryside and monument Lednice was put onto List of world cultural heritage and on 7th December 1996 onto UNSCO list. Area around the château was reconstructed into large "English park". The Lichtenstein's made of this common border castle an outstanding renaissance settlement. Around it was made the garden which is basis of common wide chateau park. During the centuries few changes were made, according to evolution of opinion.

Town park Michalov - with area of 18 ha in 2004 celebrated hundred year anniversary from establishment. Park is separated into few areas, according to its use. From garden fields and historical parts over the children playgrounds to manipulation areas, made for circuses and Luna parks.

Educational tour through Prerov's mead was made in 2004 by Prerov town. Tour has 12 km of forest paths, walkways and field paths through different ecosystems around river Becva and shows local matter of interest. Eighteen colorful and interesting information boards shows to the visitor far history and even presence of our town, consecutive development of flooded plains and shows hundreds of organisms. This tour has its start and end in park Michalov.

Zbrasovske aragonite caves
It's unique system of caves with European signification. First discovered in 1912 and opened for public in 1926. Rich decoration is made by mineral aragonite, so called geyser stalagmites and globular sintered coating reminding donuts. Not far away lies deepest Czech abyss "Hranicka abyss". So far deepest dive was 274,5 meters, but its bottom wasn't found, yet. Experts guess that it may be 700 meters deep.

Pilgrimage place Holy Hostyn with baroque temple dedicated to Mother Virgin, according to legend, she saved this county from raids of Mongolian troops in 13th century. It's most visited pilgrimage place in Moravia and after Velehrad most monumental. Already for three centuries hostyn hill (735 metre above sea-level) with its Marian temple (Basilica minor) is for thousands of pilgrim's objective of their trip.

Zoo established in 1953 at known pilgrimage place Holy Kopecek above Olomouc. At present time we can find there expositions of sea aquariums with different kinds of fish. Huge tank for sharks: with 42 cubic meters of water. Tank is 9 meter long and 3 and half meter wide. Olomouc ZOO has its own coral fish outbound.

is not made with cages, but its like a modern bio-park with roomy natural expositions for animals. Every each exposition is sensitively arranged into forest preserve, to maintain similarity of animal life environment. Originality is division of animals according to which continent they live on. Mammals and birds live here in common expositions, or neighbor pits and you as a visitor will see typical and most known species from Africa, Asia, Australia and South America. Zoo is situated into beautiful historical park. This year it's already 200 years from its establishment. In its now days shape it has character of fortress architecture with six gates, row of towers and buildings with system of ramparts from 18th century. Each architectural unit has been made since the beginning of 14th century. Its shape and size has influenced many reconstructions and enlargement, but even demolition of a part of castle in 1656. Since 19th century is castle presented as a touristy and monumentally significant object. It has became a natural cultural centre of the region and known place for international blacksmith meeting called "Hefaiston"

Tovacov chateau
It belongs to most significant architectural piece of our state and it deserves public attention. Also town itself and its neighborhood, surrounded from three fourths with water and mead forests, deserve to be seen.
Chateau was established in second half of 11th century, later was built water tower. In 1492 was finished 96 meters high tower, called "Graceful tower".

Chropyne chateau
Its known for legend of John Barley (Jecminek). Chateau Chropyne is simple two-level building with many windows in stone portals. Building is covered with shiny red roof, with high slim tower. In front of only chateau wing is short archway and not far away stands stone-made well with metal-tipped rail. Around 1850 were made romantic changes inside of chateau. We can see there great collection of weapons in Knight's Hall, collection of tin dishes, room with King John Barley's table or beautiful wooden ceiling with illustration of former Chropyne's masters.

14th century established castle. New building in German late gothic style has a row of turrets and other, in our style, alien elements. But the castle itself is grateful scenery of film fairy tales. Representative interior of castle, made with unnatural perfections, is managed by valuable historical treasure and old Order monuments. Castle is fully equipped. Many articles were brought from Germany, Italy and other states at the beginning of 20th century.

Renaissance chateau with roundel tower, which were originally built as a medieval castle on hill over the river Becva, today is part of Upper Square. During the centuries it was property of many significant Moravian aristocratic genuses and went through many style changes. From originally wooden castle, after that gothic palace with roundel tower, was with supervising of Masters from Pernstejn reconstructed into renaissance chateau in second half of 16th century. In that time town sign was created, with two tower and bison head. Final outlook of chateau was made by Karel older from Zerotin. Today is museum of John Amos Comenius situated in the chateau. It was established 1888 and its one of the oldest of its kind.
